Linux 3.14 boot panic after VirtualBox 4.3.8 r92456 upgrade

Hi All,

Since I upgraded to VirtualBox 4.3.8 r92456 (MacOS 10.9.2 Host), my Debian Wheezy 64bit guest stopped to boot. I have many 3.14-rc kernels on grub (3.14.0-rc[2-6]) and none of them work. They were all working fine before the upgrade. Interestingly, the original 3.2.0-4-amd64 from Wheezy boots fine.

I've booted on the 3.2.0-4-amd64 kernel and configured the 3.14.0-rc6 to output everything to a serial port. Then I configured the serial port to dump to a file. This is how it looks like:

You might also want to try 4.3.10 r92957 that was released on 25/03/2014.
 Edit: In case someone reads this, there was a new build released immediately after the one above. 4.3.10 r93012

My 3.14 guests are booting fine on the updated VirtualBox.

I didn't check the Changelog, but obviously something there fixed it. :D
