Hello,
After reading the latest Windows Secrets newsletter, I tried to follow Fred Langa's directions for creating an Android guest VM on my Win7 host (see http://windowssecrets.com/top-story/how ... indows-pc/). After booting the new VM from the Android-x86 ISO file as directed, instead of entering the setup sequence, I get a "kernel panic" message, and all I can do then is turn the VM off. The messages that display before the final kernel panic message zip by much too fast for me to read them (see attached screen cap).
Virtual Box version 4.3.8 with extension pack
Host is Windows 7 64-bit, fully up-to-date
android-x86-4.3-20130725 ISO file
Any ideas?
Thanks
Cannot install Android guest

Re: Cannot install Android guest
Android is not a supported guest, nor is it considered to be a Linux guest so this is the wrong forum. You can find previous Android discussions in the "Other Guests" forum. You can also Google for "Android VirtualBox".
