Mac Mini Late 2012
2.3 i7
16gb mem
Intel HD 4000, 1024mb
OSX 10.9.2

Vbox 4.3.8

All VM's are win7 64 bit.

Things were great for a long time, but then over time they have all gotten
very slow. They are usable to a point, but no longer snappy responses. Sometimes
click on something like a menu item, and wait 3-4 seconds for something to happen.

For this hardware an Win7-64bit, is there any preferred settings?

I am unsure if this has happened over time with VBox updates or when Mavericks was installed.
I didn't use my VM's for a few months and when I got back into using them every single one
was showing the same problems.

I can tell you I am running OSX 10.9.2 and VB 4.3.8 with Windows 7 and have no speed issues with menus etc. Runs as well as it always has. You might want to make sure you have the matching extension pack and guest additions for 4.3.8 if you haven't already.

4.3.8 Guest and extension pack are both installed.

How about a VBox.log? See: Minimum information needed for assistance for details. Remember to zip the log file.
