I upgraded Virtual Box to version 4.3.8 and I can't start any of my virtual machines. I keep getting "Failed to open a session for the virtual machine" error. The rest of the message reads Could not launch a process for the machine "Windows XP" (VERR_INVALID_UTF16_ENCODING).

When I click Details, it displays:
Result Code: (VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80BB0005)
Component: Machine
Interface: IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

There are several virtual machines I need access to. Can this problem be fixed, and if how?
