Could not find "Devices" button when Install Guest Additions

Hi,

the Oracle Linux 6.3 been installed on VirtualBox 4.3.8. Now need to install Guest Additions. Base on the installation guide, Click on the "Devices > Install Guest Additions", but I could not find the "Devices" button? Is my screen setting wrong?



On the installation guide, said could manually install it.

cd /media/VBOXADDITIONS_4.2.6_82870
sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

the Media here is pointing to which installation CD?

You seem to be missing the top bar. Is the host Ubuntu?

No. It's Oracle Linux6.3. the vmBox is sit on Windows 2008r2.

seems there was tool bar with File / View .... on it, when I try to adjust the screen size, some how it disappeared, and I don't know how to find it back.

Try the host+home toggle to see if it will open the manual menu. From there you should see the device menu and insert guest additions.
