Hey, I've tried everything! I am trying to install VirtualBox 4.3.8 on Mac OSX 10.9.2 the latest OSX update. I recently had a previous version of Virtual box but It was messing up so I completely erased it. went and searched for anything even relating to Virtual Box and completely eradicated it off my Mac.
Now when I open the VirtualBox 4.3.8.dmg like normal, and I double click the VirtualBox.pkg to install it, It says "Installer is damaged." "The Installer can't open the package. There may be a problem with file ownership or permissions."
I've tried numerous versions and still all of them say the same thing. The only idea I have is that maybe my actual installer is broken. Meaning my system application that unpackages and installs new applications is broken. Any Ideas anyone?

Run the Repair Disk Permissions using DIsk Utility on your MAC host then it should work.

Okay, thanks. I figured out how to do that. I am repairing disk permissions as of right now. Thanks. Hopefully it works!
