Guest Addition doesnt work

I am using host win 7, and install puppy linux in virtual box.
However, I have problems in sharing folder.
I also found that after i click install guest addition nothing seems to happend.

Actually, there is no "install guest additions" for you to click. The option now says "Insert Guest Additions CD image", since that's all it really does. On some guests this will result in autorun kicking in and running the installer on the CD. If your guest doesn't do autorun then you need to browse to the CD inside the guest and run the installer manually.

Trying to install the guest additions in any version of Puppy is a chore. If you check the Puppy forums you will see virtually (pardon the pun), no one has been successful other than early versions of Puppy where someone compiled the guest additions themselves within Puppy. You can install them if you install the developer package and the source package. At least it doesn't give a build error. The problem is it builds them where Puppy doesn't know about them so you have to modify xorg.conf files. I'm not sure even then all the features will work, such as shared folders. My advice, use a different version of Linux.
