I am running Fedora 19 32-bit on Ubuntu 13.10 32-bit host using VirtualBox 4.3.6. I am running short of disk space on Fedora 19 and so I created a new VDI of 10GB and added it to VM using Machine -> Settings -> Storage and then added the VDI under Controller: SATA along with the main Fedora.vdi image. But when I boot into Fedora, I cannot see the VDI I added as a virtual hard disk. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
PS - I cannot post the screenshot due to new user restrictions.

Usually it's the other way round, i.e., you add a hard drive to the VM and then the VDI is created. How did you create the VDI in the first place?

And BTW, the new-user restrictions is for URLs only, not attachments.

I already have a VDI that contains the Fedora installation. I was running out of space so I created and added another one. I have attached the screenshot.

Besides the screenshot, I'll need to see at least the VBox.log (zipped). See: Minimum information needed for assistance.

Just because you add a virtual drive to a virtual PC doesn't mean you can see/use it. Not until it is initialized, formatted, and mounted.

Exactly what Perry said. I have a Fedora 19 guest. I added a second .vdi drive. You have to format it to see it. It doesn't automatically mount once formatted although I am sure there is a way to do that but I don't know Fedora well enough to say how to do that. I rarely use it.

Apparently I forgot to do that. Formatted the drive using GParted. Now I can mount the drive without any problems. Thanks!
