VM is not get started om Mac Mavericks

Dear Friends,
Iam using VM first time on Mac Mavericks, its seems there is some issue in on Mavericks Operating system,
while aim opening they are showing error.
Failed to open image '/Volumes/Seagate Backup Plus Drive/VMs/Hyperion 11.1.1.3/win2003-disk1-1.vmdk' for writing due to wrong permissions (VERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY).
Failed to attach driver below us! Image is read-only. (VERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY).
PIIX3 cannot attach drive to the Primary Master (VERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY).
