Virtualizing a specific computer hardware

Hello.

I was asked by friend to install him a Windows on his HDD, but he forgot to mention he's taking his computer away from my reach, which is required to install Windows for this specific computer, yes?
Anyway. I'm wondering is it possible to set VirtualBox to emulate specific motherboard with specific cpu or all what I must do is just install the drivers for his hardware and later run this system on his computer?

Thanks.

I apologize if I put that topic in wrong part of the forum.

No. VirtualBox provides exact emulations of specific motherboard chipsets and other boards (network cards, USB controllers). It doesn't have an infinite variety of these, in fact the number is quite limited (2 m/b chipsets, 3 or 4 network cards, etc). So no, you almost certainly can't duplicate your friend's PC.

The best you can do is make a similar PC as a VM, with all apps etc installed - and hope that the later virtual - physical migration goes smoothly. I assume you'll be on hand for that, and the setup CD/DVD will be needed for new drivers.
