I am not able to set the graphics resolution to greater than 1400x1050.
My host is Ubuntu 13.10, 64-bit, using the proprietary Nvidia driver on two 2560x1600 screens.
The guest is Windows7, 64-bit.
I have installed the guest additions and am not using the 3D option since it causes the guest machine to crash quite often.
I am using Virtualbox version 4.3.8,
I have uninstalled and re-installed the guest additions several times and tried various combinations of selecting none, 2D, 3D or both in the config for the VM.
The guest VM video memory is set to 128MB.

If you use the ( host+F ) toggle do you get full screen, and are there black borders ?
