Re: Can't mount shared folder in Centos guest
Moving to "Linux guests" from "Windows hosts".
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Gdm successfully removed, It was easier than I thought actually. I followed your advice, though, but everything went fine and I didn't need to replace anything cause it worked. I used yumex to serve this purpose, I installed it long ago and all I did was look for gdm, check the box to remove it, hit apply and yumex took care of it. Then reboot and voila! no more gdm. And the system seems to be fine so far.Perryg wrote:Actually you would be time ahead if you create the second guest to do your testing in. Start with core and do not install gdm to start with, then compare the package list with the other guest. But, in any regards practice makes perfect and the more you work with it the better you will get.
