on my PC on Ubuntu 8.04 virtual host using VirtualBox 4.2.20 I have installed Android 4.4 as virtual guest. On virtualbox I have setup NAT network (this is wired network - not Wifi) and selected Fast III as network card. Connection to my company local network works fine. I can start-up a Android browser and access to my local company's web servers. But I can't access the internet with browser and also can't access the Google Play getting connection error.
I know our company is using proxy server to access internet. On Ubuntu host I have already set proxy server, so host is able to access the Internet. But within Android virtual guest I am unable to access internet. This is most probably some kind of setting in Android. Can someone help me out where should I set the proxy server settings most probably in Android virtual guest?
