I am on an AMD FX-6100 CPU running 64-bit Windows 8.1, using VirtualBox 4.3.8 with the Extension Pack. I have enabled AMD-V in the BIOS. I have been searching forums and tutorials for hours and I cannot find the answer to my problem.
When I go to make a new VM, I have a bunch of listings of Operating Systems to choose from, but they are only 32-bit.
When I start up an OS like Windows Server 2012 for example, it comes to a black screen that says my processor is not 64-bit. I have followed tutorials on this problem and it has not fixed it. I would really like to know how to resolve my issue because I have hopes of implementing this program in my business.
Thank you for your time,
Totemhorn

Make sure Hyper-V or XP-mode is not enabled.
(and between you and me, you haven't been searching for hours)
