00:00:01.424608 WARNING! 64-bit guest type selected but the host CPU does NOT support HW virtualization.

Look at the guest setting and make sure that the version does not say RedHat (64 bit), just RedHat

If it is set properly then run the following in the hosts terminal/command window

Code: Select all

VBoxManage modifyvm <vmname> --longmode off
Then see if it will boot.

Yes the version is set to Redhat and not 64 bit.

I ran the vboxmanage command as suggested.

It still failed to start. New logs and screenshot being uploaded.

Not sure whats changed as I have been using this vm for quite some time before with no problems

thanks

Well that took care of the 64-bit warning. But looks like you have something serious going on.

Looks like a gcc error but you would need to talk to the DEVs about it to be sure.
You can post a ticket at bugtracker or try to reach them on IRC tomorrow.
