Hello,
I have Version 4.3.6 Edition installed on Win 7 x64. I try to run a guest os with windows 2008 server r2 x64 and at installation it gives me that does not support a 64 CPU.
I have virtualization enabled in Bios.
For the virtual machine i have set up:
Base system memory : 2500 MB
Acceleration: Vt-x/Amd-V, Nested Paging, PAE/NX
Why? And what should i do s.t. 2008 server r2 will work? Thank you
Trying to install windows 2008 server r2 x64

1) 64-bit guests need hardware-virtualzation enabled in the hosts bios.
2) when creating the 64-bit guest you must select 64-bit in General -> Basic -> version.
3) If running Windows as host you must make sure hyper-v or xp mode is not enabled on the host. MS does not play well and wants it all.
