Strange one this!
Linux guest (Centos) on Linux host (Debian). DHCP server is on a Netgear R6300 router.
Guest requests DHCP lease just fine, and is assigned an IP. Forcing a release and request will reliably fetch another IP.
The router has been told to assign the guest's MAC address a particular IP. This works for all other devices on the network, including the VirtualBox host! But for some reason, guests on that host will never get the right IP - but will always get *a* lease. It's as though the MAC isn't being transmitted properly, but that is of course impossible, or the network wouldn't work at all.
Ideas?
DHCP lease received, but not the right one!

What networking mode are the guests using?
