Hello,
I recently installed the last version of VitualBox (4.3.6-91406) version on my Windows 7 integral SP1.
(Previously I had VirtualBox4.2.18-88781 which worked correctly). Since that installation (made under administrator elevation), I have systematically the following error :
Echec de la création de l'objet COM
Le programme va s'arrêter.
Code retourné: E_NOINTERFACE (0x80004002)
I uninstall it, reboot, reinstall it : same behavior. I did the same with my previous working version and I have the same error. So I can no more use VirtualBox.

Can somebody help me ?

How exactly did you do that?
- Using the "Run as administrator" when right-clicking on the installer, or
- Logging in as administrator and running the installer?
The first is the correct method.

I launched the installation with "run as administrator" option.
I can't no more run Virtualbox since the 4.3.6 installation.. Something was broken... prevent me to run old version like newer version.

I made a lot of installations, cleaning registry before, etc. with reboot before and after uninstallation/installation.
The result is always :
Échec de la création de l'objet COM de VirtualBox.
Le programme va s'arrêter.
Code retourné : E_NOINTERFACE (0x80004002)

I tried the last version 4.3.8RC1 : same behavior.

I'm afraid seeing lot of guys in the forum that have the same issue. Never I found a real solution.

Some informations about my config.

VB Versions tested : several 32 bits packages (i.e. 4.1.18-78361, 4.2.12-84980, 4.2.16-86992, 4.2.18-88781, 4.3.6-91406, 4.3.8-92456, 4.3.8_RC1-92386)

Host is Windows Seven 32 bits SP1 with 3.25 Go RAM usable. CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.17 GHz

Guest : any. Could not create any guest because of interface missing...

For my 4.3 version, that works only with this properties :
- Compatibility mode : Windows Vista
- Execute as adminisitrator
