Windows 8.1 Host | virtualbox stopped working Oracle Linux 6

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Laptop with Windows 8.1 64bit installed.

I have VirtualBox 4.2.12 installed and I was trying to install Oracle Linux 6.3 on my virtualbox.

During installation a reboot was required (the first part of the process). I got "Oracle Virtual Box Manager Has Stopped Working". When I restart the virtual machine, I can continue the process but can never get past the Enabling/Disabling of Kdump in the last part of the setup process. It constantly crashes with the above error message.

3072 MB Ram is allocated
12 Mb Video Memory
2 CPU
VT-x/AMD-V, Nested Paging Enable

Any suggestion to fix it?

I am also facing the same issue and tried all possible option in last 4 days but no luck.

Please someone help me and provide some solution .

Strange that no-one has responded to the original message - perhaps because 4 log files were provided but no indication of which one was relevant.

@Ranjan: "I have the same problem" posts are rarely answered. Start your own topic and provide a proper description of your problem, along with one VM log file of a problem session - posted as .zip attachment. Minimum information needed for assistance.

I can guarantee that nobody will be interested in addressing your problem if you can't back it with diagnostic data (log file) and a proper problem description.

Also, I know from experience that most guys that come along here and say "I have the same problem"... almost never really have the same problem, so the assertion is basically worthless. After all, that's a diagnostic conclusion - and if their diagnostic skills were very good then they wouldn't be asking for help. Seriously, we've had guys on here claiming to have the same problem because the wording of both error messages included the same word "Error".
