Windows XP keeps freezing and automatically reboots
My host is Windows 8.1. I tried searching for a decent Windows XP ISO image since I do not own a disk. Soon I just downloaded an entire VM from the microsoft website. The VM imported fine but when I started XP, the VM started freezing and automatically shut down.

VM log file please. Minimum information needed for assistance.
Microsoft VMs are designed with hooks for Virtual PC and Win7 XP mode, not VirtualBox. They're also time limited demos of some product that happens to run on that OS. IMHO you should really install XP from scratch. Buy an XP license, but when doing so be sure to avoid upgrade licenses and branded OEM licenses (Dell, HP etc).
