VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR on OSX
VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR on OSX
For some reason, I am getting many errors like the following:
VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR
Across VM on OSX (10.8 and higher). This seems to crash the VM (CentOS running a Node.js application)
Any suggestions, recommendation? I could not find much information online.
Best regards,

The version of VirtualBox you are using, and whether you have installed the Guest Additions (in the guest).
We have seen this on multiple versions of VirtualBox, all 4.3.2r90405 and up (I can try to get the list of all the people to which this happened here).
Host & Guest make and version including 32 or 64 bit, and the amount of memory available to both.
1GB, 2CPU, 64 bit CentOS with different setups (all are running primarily Node.JS, but some datastores get installed, such as xtradb, couchbase and dynamodb dev), hosted on OSX 10.8 and 10.9
Guest log file (as an attachment) See your VirtualBox users guide for how to locate this if using CLI or right click the guest in the VirtualBox main manager and select show log. Then choose save.
The forum does not let me either post a link or upload the logs. Look on gist, I have posted the log there under the name of the error in the title of this post.

Re: VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR on OSX
I see you're using VBox 4.3.2. I suggest you upgrade to 4.3.6 and come back to us if the problem isn't already fixed.
Re: VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR on OSX
As mentioned before posting the logs, we have people on VBox 4.3.2 and up. That includes at least one PC 4.3.6 that I know of which suffers of the problem.

Re: VERR_VM_FATAL_WAIT_ERROR on OSX
That being the case you should raise a ticket at bugtracker

So my guess is that this is not something others might have suffered from so far?

Just wanted to add that I'm currently seeing this issue. I've amended my details to the ticket #12727.
