I can connect my win server 2003 vbox to my other win server 2003 vbox domain but when i try to connect my win server 2008 to my win 2003 domain it asks for user and pass and wen i type it it sais An attempt to to resolve the dns name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed how do i fix this?

Fix your DNS/network configuration. this has nothing to do with Virtualbox.
