I've been experimenting with Natnetwork with VirtualBox 4.3.6, Windows 8.1 host, Linux guests. I just want to mention my problem briefly to see if anyone else has it/a fix is on the way, and if not I'll do a proper investigation.
I am moving my laptop between work and home wifi networks. I find that, when I do this, Natnetworks stop being able to access the internet, almost as if VB is holding on to stale settings. Rebooting the guests and restarting VB don't fix it, but rebooting the host does. The NAT option always works fine.

Re: Natnetwork question
This is usually due to hibernation. Connecting to different networks without rebooting and the host although deals with it does not report it to VirtualBox or VirtualBox drivers are not dealing with it. I would post a ticket at bugtracker and let them know about it. Post as much information as you can including the guests log file ( as an attachment ).

Re: Natnetwork question
Ok, done as #12716
I think it's just the DNS, actual connectivity is fine.
Thanks for your help,
Pete
