I'm a complete noob to virtual box so please answer simply so i know what you mean

So I'm using virtual box on a windows 7 computer, and I would like to run Mac OS X on it :) . I'm going to buy this installation disk from apple [its Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (installation DVD) you can find it on the apple store for about £14.00/$23.00]
I have 2 questions:

1. Is this the right thing to buy for it?
2. I have an AMD processor, is that ok
? :?:

here are my system specs

Windows 7 home premium
Service pack 1
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Company (HP)
Model: p6-2200ea
Processor: AMD E2-3200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.40 GHz
Installed Memory(RAM): 4.00GB (3.48 GB usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
Pen and Touch: No pen or touch input is available for this display

Many thanks to anyone who replies :)
