My older version of virtual box was perfectly running on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) with a Windows 7 guest.
After upgrade to Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) I had to disable some of my virtual network adapters in order to run the Win7 guest. Also my shared folders were no longer available.
So I decided upgrading virtual box to the latest version (4.3.6)
After installation of virtual box, it started normally without need to disable virtual network adapters. But the shared folders were not fixed.
Then I installed guest additions, but afterwards mouse completely stopped. I never faced a similar problem in many different versions of virtual box with different guest OS. Still my Ubuntu guest is perfectly running on the same host virtual box. After searching web I could not find a fix for my problems.
Do anybody has ideas how to fix mouse and shared folders problems on windows guest? Thanks

Could you zip the VBox.log and the <VM>.vbox and upload them so we can take a look at them?
