HELP!!! CAN'T SETUP WINDOWS WHISTLER!!!

When I try to start up Whistler build 2276, it crashes at the "Please wait" screen. Why does this happen? Windows 2000 is VM type.

Will it run on physical hardware? Whistler was a beta build and they are usually time-bombed to expire after six months.

Oh, I set the BIOS date, but the timebomb still may have erased the software, why not run it in MVPC 2007 inside Win7.
