Hi,
I have original Windows XP, 7 and 8 (all OEM versions).
I have already activated these all windows in another laptop (not as guest system). So activation is used.
Despite I can additionally without problem install the Windows XP and 7 and activate in VB. Activation is successful.
But can anyone tell me why I cannot activate Windows 8. Of course it seems maybe ok why I have activate these in one mashine and cannot again activate in vb because these are OEM versionen but why I can activate one again windows xp, 7 but not 8.
Has Windows 8 any additional protection?
Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 activation on VB

OEM is the key word. A lot of OEM versions are tied to the specific hardware. Since the "hardware" presented to the OS by VirtualBox is definitely different from your original hardware, all bets are off. I would try to talk, either to the OEM vendor or Microsoft about the licensing.RobertVox1977 wrote:I have original Windows XP, 7 and 8 (all OEM versions).
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Are you saying that the original laptop activation of this is still current? Have you tried using these, while connected to the internet, since activating the VM? I would have expected XP to have a problem with this, but Win7 has different licensing conditions: you'd need to check the license.RobertVox1977 wrote:Despite I can additionally without problem install the Windows XP and 7 and activate in VB. In your message there seems to be an implicit assumption that all Windows versions have the same activation rules - they certainly don't. Even within a single version, differently licensed versions have different activation rules.

Thank you for quick respone!!
Yes, windows 8 must have different licencing conditions.
I don't use at once windows OEM on 2 system (main and guest on vb) but you are right mpack.. if I would with internet connection than it wouldn't work.
So windows 7 oem must have different licence as windows 8.
Thanks
