No USB devices available after upgrade

Post by steveb7az »

I have an odd problem that occurred after upgrading to the most recent version of Vbox. Currently I'm running Vbox 4.3.6 on LinuxMint 16, with XP as a guest OS. After upgrading whenever I look on the menu under "Devices, USB Devices" it does not show anything connected (that includes my USB keyboard and mouse). If I plug in a USB flash drive, USB scanner, etc they are seen by the host, but never by the guest OS. I have checked the settings and USB is enabled. Any ideas on why none of my USB devices are available to my guest OS?

Then I would verify that your user name is still in the vboxusers group
