network configuration

Hello,

The host system is windows 8 and windows 7 is the guest (integral).

I want to connect to a local network where this is another PC and a PLC.

I need a different IP address for my virtual machine because it must be visible and accessible on the network.

So I can not use NAT.

I configured in bridge mode and I can access the host machine without problem. By cons, if I ping the controller, I have an error message or no response.

I can not find a tutorial just explaining the process.

VMware it works without any problems.

Can someone help me there?

Thank you.

Do you have a DHCP server on the network? If you do, you should not need to do anything. The vm should get its config from DHCP and behave just like another PC on the LAN as soon as you boot the vm.

Do an ipconfig on the host and guest and check that they are in the same subnet.
