Hi
I used to install Linux Guest Additions in VirtualBox 4.0 using Devices > Install Guest Additions... .
Now that I have upgraded to VirtualBox 4.3.6, I see that the menu command has changed to Devices > Install Guest Additions CD image... and that opens a file explorer type window. Has the functionality changed? Do I need to install the additions differently now?
My guest is Centos 5.10.
Best regards
David

No, the wording has changed. Many users thought that "Install Guest Additions" would actually install the additions, when in fact the only thing that did was to mount the virtual CD. Now it simply says "Hey, insert CD" and after that you are (usually) prompted to run the installer. If not, browse your CD and find the appropriate installer for your OS.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
