copy to OS X

I've not found the answer to my question on this forum, if it's there, please accept my apologies.

I've created a Virtualbox machine (Win7) on my Win7 PC and want to copy it to the MacBook of a friend.
Is this possible and is there anything special I need to do to make it work?

You say you want to copy it to the MacBook of a friend. Do you intend to stop using that license after that time? Because otherwise one of you is likely to be deactivated since I doubt you'll have identical CPUs.

I've seen this statement several times before. Are you sure that changing only the CPU type is going to trigger a Windows activation issue? Because as far as I understand, the rest of the hardware is presented identical to the OS.

I'm sure that it counts towards the hardware signature, and I would guess it's heavily weighted - i.e. how often should the CPU type change? So, it rather depends on an unknown element: how many changes has the user already made since Win7 was first installed? Also, even if it ran without complaint for now, it's would basically be a time bomb. Would the OP or the user prefer to wait until a lot of time has been invested before they make the last trivial changes that stops the VM working properly?

And of course we can't responsibly ignore the legal issues: if the OP is describing a copyright violation then we can't condone or facilitate that here.
