I am running Fedora 19 Host with a Windows 7 64-bit Guest with iTunes on it. I am trying to use bridged mode to put the guest on the same subnet as the rest of my network so I can sync over wifi. But in bridged mode, iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes store.
The error thrown in iTunes is: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection was reset. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
However, when using NAT mode, the iTunes can load normally, but my guest is not on the same subnet.
I performed all of the solutions I could find across different forums, but none seem to have the same issue that I am seeing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Cannot connect to iTunes Store in bridged mode
WiFi is not the same kind of connection as a wired one (mostly). If you have two addresses from the same wireless physical medium talking to your WiFi router, things can get messy. This is expected behavior, from a technical point of view (AFAIK), and not something that can be fine-tuned in software. I'm sure that someone with a more inside knowledge can correct/supplement me.Cerwin wrote:... wifi in bridged mode [it fails] ... NAT mode [it works] ...
BTW, test it for yourself. Try bridged mode with an actual cable. It works...
