VM greyed out after Host sleeps

Post by christ2 »

Hi Everyone. After I have the Host (Win7 & Win8 ) sleep with a VM running, upon waking the Host the VM is "greyed out" how can I either avoid this or less clumsily make the GUI appear normal upon wake, am I missing something here :? Thx Chris

"greyed out" as in "Paused"? I would call that expected behavior.

Think about it for a second... Your VM doesn't have a clue that "the universe" around it (your host) has suddenly stopped moving. What do you do? The safest bet would be to pause when the host went asleep. You can't have (for example) the clock running on your guest when it doesn't even run on the host...
