If I install Windows 7 (or 8 ) in a VM and then make a copy of the files using just copy/paste, this would mean that the UUID and whatever else remains unchanged.
If I move this guest Windows 7 VM to another host computer that has different hardware specifications, would I be forced to reactivate the VM again?
Thank you

Perhaps. The guest can see any CPU change, which may be enough to force reactivation.
