Guest Performance Deteriorates
Posted: 23. Jan 2014, 03:07
Host-
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
i5 CPU M560 2.67 GH (2 core)
8 G RAM
VBox 4.3.6 r 91406
Guest-
Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition 64 bit
1 CPU
3 G ram
w Guest Additions
System\Performance\Advanced is set for Background Services
I run a .NET based web app on the Guest which includes SQL Server.
Initially the app runs extremely fast but gradually over an hour or so the performance gets worse, with some momentary freezing (3-4 seconds)
Behavior is the same if I access the app with Guest or Host browser (both IE9).
I routinely run Defrag on host/guest and delete the temp files.
(Log file attached)
Looking for any suggestions, thanks!
