Do I need to reactivate a Windows 7 VM if I move it?

I'd like to create a Widows 7 guest VM using my only license remaining. Once I've created it, would the following condition below force me to have to reactivate it?

1. Moving the Windows 7 VM down the road from one host computer to another host computer? The two host computers would be different makes/models.

Thank you

Your host may be different, but as long as the "recipe" of your VM doesn't change, I don't think you might have a problem. Have not tested it personally.

If the new host uses a different CPU then that change will be visible to the guest, so it's entirely possible this will be enough to trigger reactivation. That shouldn't be a problem though, provided the move is permanent and it's more than 120 days since the previous activation.
