OK, this is probably a stupid question, but I can't find my USB stick in my Windows XP VM.
The host is Windows 8.1, and in the device list of the VM the USB stick is shown correctly (see attached image). But shouldn't it apear in the workspace somwhere? There is also a USB mouse (also shown in the device list) which works great.

OK, it is working now.
I installed all the Windows updates and patches. There was also a problem with the USB driver which resolved itself online, and after working back and forth for some time it finally worked.
