Settings
Shared Clipboard = Bidirectional
Copy from Windows screen and attempt to paste in Ubuntu terminal window but Paste is disabled.
How can this be solved?

Have you installed the Guest Additions in your guest? If you have, and it still doesn't work, then please read the following: Minimum information needed for assistance.
