Trouble setting up Virtual box

attempting to setup a virtual box to run Kali for some Pen testing.

Installed it, created a virtual machine and loaded the ISO of Kali and it worked, realized had not given it enough RAM so removed the machine to add a new one with more, since doing that I have not been able to run it.

Have uninstalled it completely and re installed but nothing, getting the error
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine kali.

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS. (VERR_VMX_MSR_VMXON_DISABLED).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {8ab7c520-2442-4b66-8d74-4ff1e195d2b6}
annoyingly everything in the BIOS is OK..

any ideas please

Why didn't you simply increase the RAM in the VM you already had working?

Either VT-x is disabled in the BIOS or you have another VM platform using it (e.g Hyper-v).
