HI,
I have a macbook pro 13" late 2013 running with mavericks. I would like to run in virtualbox Mac OSX Lion in order to be able to keep using some old softwares.
Can someone tell me if that's possible ? I didn't try yet because I still have to purchase Lion. Won't do so if it happened to be impossible... For the record I couldn't run SL in VM on host Mavericks.
Thanks !!

- According to Mactracker, the 13" late 2013 MBP came with Mavericks as the least OSX version supported.
- The MOSX installer checks for some machine specific parameters to allow or not the installation. I'm not 100% sure which parameters it checks for.
- I've read a long time ago that you could make a custom installer to dupe the installer to allow older OSX versions to install on newer hardware.
- Try your favorite search engine to look for "install older OSX in newer hardware".
- When you find the solution, try it on your actual hardware on an external USB disk or a USB stick before you try it on VirtualBox.
