VM fusion import issue with windows 7 password

Post by GD_Controls »

After getting fed up with VMfusion crashing on my macbook I car back to Virtualbox.

I created a new VM easily and runs no problem. However when I imported my Windows 7 VM, It boots without issue to the log in screen. When I try to log it tell me that my user name or password is incorrect. I know i have the correct username and password.
Is there anything that would change this?

The wrong keyboard layout could do this, depending on what your previous layout was (e.g. qwerty vs azerty), and whether there are any non Roman characters involved.
