Any way to alter the Linux guest console colors?

Post by bobmct »

I know this may be a stupid question but I'm running VBx on a Win7 system with Ubuntu 13.10 guest. The guest console always starts white on black. Is there any way to redefine the colors (foreground/background) to make them easier to see? Thanks. :?:

Have you tried an Ubuntu forum? Or a Linux forum in general? This is definitely not a VirtualBox question.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

That's easy. You have to edit your .bashrc file in your home directory "~/"
