Can you post the output of the 'ifconfig -a' command when run on the guest?

I vaguely remember an issue with CentOS (if I'm correct) where the network adapters in the guest were not "connecting" unless you enabled the firewall (or something like that). I will try to find the appropriate thread.

Bridging to wireless is iffy. Try it with NAT again. It should work provided the host has a working internet connection.

I have changed it to NAT.

Following is the output of "ifconfig -a" on the guest OS.

Everything seems to be OK. Do you still have internet access problems? Like if you "ping 8.8.8.8" it fails? Or if you do a "ping www.google.com"?

Yes tried with www.google.com , ping did not work.
Interesting thing here is , it worked as soon as I have installed the Vitualbox additional tools for the first time.
But after I did some pre checks required for 12c using yum; then it failed. Following is the command.

yum install oracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall

Restarted the Guest OS few times and again tries installing the virtualbox guest addtionals; but NO Luck.

Regards,
Neel..
