The ISO image for 64 bit Ubuntu 13.10 will not install under a windows host running on an Intel processor. Applies to VB 4.3.4 and 4.3.6. This was not a problem earlier. Also, it is not a problem with the 32 bit version.
Only an AMD64 version of this release is available, and an X64 release is apparently required. This is probably an Ubuntu issue rather than a vbox issue, but it will affect anyone attempting to use this software with vbox. Any suggestions for a fix?

Did you select "Ubuntu (64-bit)" as your guest variant?
