Running Virtual Box 4.3.6 with Guest Additions installed but the Guest does not see nor does it mount the drives I wish it to share with the host. I can *share* them through my network, but sharing them within the Windows Host and then navigating them under the Ubuntu guest and accessing them this way but this is not a very efficient way to accomplish what I'm trying to do, nor is it compatible with using this guest client as a sandbox of sorts. Basically, I want to use the guest as a sandbox for general web surfing and downloading files and torrents.

Host Machine running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Intel Q6600 2.4GHz
4 GB DDR2 ram
180 GB SSD (OS Drive)
250 GB HDD (2ndary Drive)
1TB HDD (Tertiary Drive)

Trying to share the 250GB and 1TB HDD with the Guest Client. I added them as Machine Drives under Shared Folders and they are set to Auto-Mount.
This worked when I was running a Windows 7 Guest, but for this Ubuntu guest it just isn't working. Will provide any additional info if someone asks.

You mention that you installed the GAs, but are you actually using the GA Shared Folders feature in the VM settings, or are you trying to access a normal network share?
