VirtualBox 4.3.6 and CentOS 6.5 OpenGL Support

I installed VirtualBox 4.3.6 on Window 7/32 and added the VBox Guest Additions.

I created a 32-bit VM and installed CentOS 6.5 i386. After installing CentOS, I connected the .iso for VBox Guest Additions and installed them. All went smoothly and there was no indication of any errors.

I enabled the network connection and installed the software updates using the graphical yum front-end. (There are two stages to this: the first updates an RPM component, and subsequent iterations update other stuff.) All updates available on 12/31/2013 seemed to install with no problems.

After completing the updates, I rebooted and attempted to re-apply the VBox Guest Additions. The OpenGL support component now reports FAILED each time I re-apply the VBGA.

Note: similar problems happen if I start with CentOS 6.4, apply the current updates (which brings it to 6.5), and then re-apply the VBox Guest Additions.

I have attached the "vboxadd-install.log" as a compressed (ZIP) file. I can't understand what it's trying to tell me nor what to do about fixing the problem, but maybe somebody out there can help.
