Hello I have a problem with wireshark.
I have 2 laptops connected with crossover cable, and within each a virtual machine.
Im going to call them Laptop1, Laptop2, VM1, VM2.
Laptop1-> Windows7
Laptop2-> Windows7
VM1-> vyatta
VM2-> vyatta
I have wireshark sniffing each of the laptops in their ethernet network adapters. You can see the packets between the two laptops, but the packets sent by the virtual machines not.
What's strange is that the virtual machine successful ping each other, and are also they are configured with bgp protocol and it's working.
So i do not understand why wireshark isn't seeing packets.
Adapters in virtual machines are bridge and promiscuous "allow-all".
I Try to put the adapters in the virtual machines on host-only and make the bridge outside with the ethernet adapter and yes, it works i can see the packets, but I cant do it that way.

Any thoughts?
