Hello there,
I am really hoping that somebody can help me out with my problem. I am a student and working on my college to become a Netwerk/server manager.
I installed Windows Server 2012 on my virtualbox it works perfect and like a charm. But i would like to have the option that when i add a DHCP server or Active directory and i would like to RESET it back to default. How can i do this? Currently i have removed it manually. The point of this server is to learn working with DHCP and activer directory etc.
Is there any option that i can enable? BTW my college has a virtual server too but with one CLICK the can restore it to factory settings.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Nino

I believe you are talking about Snapshots.

I'm loathe to see snapshots being recommended for anything. Why not just create a base VM and clone it (full independant clone) at the start of each new experiment?

Because "Restore current snapshot" takes a second and "Clone" can easily take at least several minutes.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

I'm aware of that, amazingly enough. Cloning is also much safer, so it's time well spent.
