VirtualBox 4.3.6 Does Not See Network Adapters

Post by arrmo »

Hi,

I just updated 4.3.4 to 4.3.6, and I can't run my "old" VM's any more ... as the network adapters all seem to be missing now ... :-(. I'm running in Bridged Mode, and under "Name" there are no longer any adapters.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

The "Bridged" mode ties a physical NIC of your host. So you have to select from the drop-down which NIC you want.
VM Settings -> Network -> Adapter # -> "Attached to: Bridged" and "Name: <choose_one>"
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Yep, that I understand. There was nothing on the list.

Uninstalled 4.3.6 completely, rebooted, reinstalled ... and now they are back on the list ... :-).

Thanks!
