Fail to attach usb device

on windows 8 x64 host
i cannot attach any usb device to any guest with vbox not early than 4.2.18.
the stat is strange:

I would uninstall and then reinstall VirtualBox. When you reinstall VirtualBox do make sure that USB support is enabled. I would also use "Run as administrator" when running the install app, giving you permission to install drivers.

Finally, I would make sure that Win8-64bit's "Driver Signature Enforcement" feature is not set to silently reject the installation of non-Microsoft device drivers. Make sure it is configured to at least prompt you for permission to install them.

tried but still not work
the problem exists since 4.2.18(4.2.16 works normally) so i think maybe something changed in 4.2.18 caused the bug

I have same problem with ver 4.3.6 r91406 . Ver 4.2.6-82870 works fine on my Win 8 host.
